The three key Turismo Tropical Apartments are situated by the San Cristobal beach in Almuņecar on the Costa Tropical, about 80 kilometres south of Granada Airport.

The accommodation, at the Turismo Tropical complex comprises 52 one bedroomed bungalows (for two to four adults) and ten two bedroom bungalows (for four to six adults), each having a private bathroom, a kitchen with microwave, and a lounge/dining area with a double sofa bed. Ten of the one bedroomed bungalows are adapted for use by disabled guests. All are equipped with electric radiators, television and direct dial telephone. The bungalows are cleaned daily, with towels being changed daily and bed linen changed every four days.

The facilities, at the apartments, include a restaurant, a coffee bar, a swimming pool and 24 hour reception. A programme of entertainment is provided and guests can take part in various sports and activities.
