"Not good!"

I am very disappointed with Club Martha's. The receptionist was rude and always frowning (Basil Fawlty in a woman version?)
Towels on all beds at the pool from six in the morning and to 10 a.m without anyone there! I thought this form of reservation was forbidden in most places in Spain and have never seen this before.
The buffet (breakfast and dinner) was a catastrophy, not worth the money at all.
It is not in Cala d'Or but in Cala Egos. Cala d'Or is a superb place!
Saw cockroaches yes and the room was cleaned only twice. Got the room very late on arrival. Would never stay there one more time. Avoid this hotel!

"Very German Orientated"

I was really disappointed with the complex overall. It states in the brochure that it is in Cala d'Or but is in fact in Cala Egos which is a good 30 minute walk.
On arrival my apartment had two dead cockroaches and children's playing cards under the bed which means that it obviously not thoroughly cleaned. Bedding only changed once per week. Apartment not cleaned properly by the maids.
Air conditioning unit leaked from the day we got there and was not fixed by the time we left, even though it was it reported many times.
There is a Dutch only swimming pool. Surely that is a racist gesture to the other nationalities staying there!
The children's club (Molly Club), which is the reason we chose the complex, spoke German and Dutch only and my son cannot speak German as he is only six years old!
Recommend 'Corners' for food. Very well priced and friendly.
I would NOT return to Martha's, even if it was free!

This was our fifth stay at Martha's and again we had a wonderful time. My kids found lots to do, especially with the Thomas Cook kids' club and Martha's sports activities. The place was again spotless with the maintenance persons washing the paths every day etc.
Special mention to Maria, the hotel public relations person, who again came to the rescue when we lost some items. The pools were great and clean, there was some great entertainment on a night and it was a great base to go out and see Majorca from.
‘Tony's' again came up trumps with food just round the corner with Victor. his son. keeping up the good work. Another great holiday.

Well, what can we say? Great place if you're a kid under ten. When we arrived, the apartment wasn't ready and we were told to wait a couple of hours! After an hour we complained and they gave us a room at the back of the complex overlooking the stage. Room was dirty, unmodernised and of generally low standard.
Pools were clean and there were lots of sun beds if you got up before eight to put your towels on! Marthas is NOT in Cala D'Or as brochures describe, it's in Cala Egos, a good 60 minutes walk away taking you around the harbour.
Kids were really well catered for, with the ‘Molly Club' and activities and we would recommend eating at Tony's which is just round the corner. Not a place to go if you're just a couple or your kids are older.

"Loved It"

As I am 15, I went here with my Mum and Dad during the Easter holidays and thought it was a great place to go. Although it was the start of the season and not a lot of places were open, I was able to keep busy by playing football, tennis, going swimming and of course, sunbathing. As the week passed more places began to open and it became great fun to go out there at night - there were lots of restaurants to choose from that suited lots of differences in food taste and there were a range of quiet pubs to lively clubs with karaoke.
The scenery was beautiful when you went walks around at daytime and because it was in April it was just a good temperature to get a good tan but still be able to investigate the area. I would definitely go back again!

"The Best"

I thought after reading all the reviews regarding Club Martha's that I had to write. We first visited Martha's in 1995 on an allocation on arrival - well what a holiday this was in the early days of Oscar and Ryan the entertainers. We had such a good time that we have returned ten times and we are booked as a party of 16 to return this year.
The hotel continues to improve with this year. All the reception and dining room refurbished. Never have we encountered any problems and have made friends with many nationalities. At no time have the pools been allocated to any one nationality. No way would i liken this to a council estate but clean, well kept, constantly upgraded apartments.
I have not written before but I thought I would tell my side but of course, if you find this hotel so awful then at least you won't be back, leaving this little part of paradise for the people who truly appreciate it.

"Not For Teenagers"

This year, I am going to Club Marthas for the third time. I liked it the last years, but there aren't many teenagers around, and bad facilities for going out. The disco at Marthas for example, I really don't think they may even call it a disco. I liked that there were a lot of Dutch and English people. I made a lot of friends there. In two weeks I will be there again, but I think I will be bored, unless there are some interesting people.

This is the place if you like your music loud and strong up to 18 hours a day . Accommodation very interesting - reminds us of a good council estate. The receptionist deserves a medal, she or he had to cope single handed with hordes of complaining guests...

I loved this place. I have actually been there four times with different crowds. Would recommend it as it does cater for all age groups. Didn't have one bad hotel there!

I stayed here on a late deal. Would definately recommend it. I went at a quiet time of year but would love to go in June or July.
