Review title: "Europa - Not The Best"
Travel date: March 2007
I was looking forward to staying in the Europa. I am from Belfast originally and had in the past worked for the Hastings Group. I am registered disabled (blind) with some sight in good light. On arrival, three light bulbs were not working and it took the management until the next day to replace them. The room service was terrible - I ordered breakfast by 'phone and I told the lady I could not see to fill in the form - it did not arrive the next morning as I was told I did not fill in a form! No one was interested. The breakfast that arrived had been cooked obviously for some time - the eggs were plastic like and the rest was inedible.

On leaving, the staff could not have cared less - a polite sorry was all they could muster. Four star is not the Europa - I felt second class in a second class establishment. Thank goodness there is a good choice of other hotels in Belfast! My partner typed this for me.
