Just got back last night. Loved every minute. The weather started off cloudy but by the end of the week it picked up nicely, and I did come home with a little bit of a tan!

The hotel is situated really well on the beach. Everyone at the Donaire is so friendly. Great maid service, they were in every day. Great restaurant service and even better bar service! Hello Sebastian!

It was a great holiday. I went with a friend and my parents. I think we all had a good time, I know I did! I think me and my friend may book to go next August and I may even go on my own in early May, unless of course there is a vacancy on the animation team and I'll be there all season!

We have travelled to the Donaire for the last five years and are going back this year again - September 2008. Some might say 'how boring' but we say 'if it ain't broken, don't fix it'!

What a great hotel - right on the beach, great food, terrific staff and fantastic sea views. La Pineda has everything for a family holiday and Salou is only ten minutes away by a very efficient local bus service. Most of our family has been over with us at some point and also can't believe how great the whole place is, even the teenagers and have asked us when we are all going back so go and check it out for yourselves.

I stayed at Golden Donaire Beach for seven nights at the end of September with my boyfriend. The hotel was immaculate and we had maid service every day.

We did not use the pool, as even though it was after the summer holidays, it is very much a family orientated hotel and there were too many kids splashing about for my liking (mean I know).

If you aren't a fussy eater the food is very varied and the evening buffet is different every day although like every buffet style dining I have ever had on holiday, it was not exactly steaming hot. The problem for me is that I am a very fussy eater and the only meat I eat is fish. There was one type of fish on the menu every evening but this made it very limited for me. If you are vegetarian it would be extremely limited as even the pasta dishes have meat in them every night.

The hotel sits right on the beach so you could not ask for a better location and although La Pineda is a quiet resort it was pleasant and relaxing - I'm only 26 and I enjoyed it. Salou is only approximately 15 minutes away by bus and it's less than two euros each way.

Over all a great holiday, but if I'm honest I probably will not return to La Pineda for some time. For me it's one of those places nice to visit but not somewhere I would return to again and again.

Got back on 23.06.07 after spending two great weeks at the Golden Donaire Park. Also went last August and found food was better then, more of an option with the food. Had a letter about building work just before we went but no problem what so ever, didn't really hear any work going on. F

Found the first week more fun as seemed to be more English. Second week more Spanish, German, Dutch and Russians. Amy and Jackie, the hotel reps, were great. Going to book the next year but maybe last week in May and the first week of June.

Weather was great, only problem was that a few people had their purses and wallets pinched. Not informed by reps when we arrived. This occurred in La Pineda and Salou, so take care. Apart from that, a great holiday and the kids loved it. Wife, myself and mother in law loved it also, only sad thing was the 'Mad Scotsman' pub around the corner from hotel has now sold up and gone to Benidorm.

Just returned from two weeks at Hotel Donaire Park. The first 11 days were fantastic as the hotel was not too full. All the staff were very helpful. The waiters were extremely hard working. Jacqueline, who was one of the entertainers, was brilliant, as was Amy, the children's entertainer. The Thomsons' 'Kidzone' kids' club reps, Kev, Sara and Lyndsay were exceptional. Our four year old went to most of the sessions because he wanted to and met lots of friends there.

However, after 23rd June the hotel got absolutely packed with Spanish families as it was school holidays in Spain. There were queues for breakfast and the pool area was very busy. By the 26th we were kind of glad to be going home. We would definitely go to this hotel again,but not during the peak season, i.e. before the third week in June!

Oh my goodness! The hotel was fabulous, fantastic and totally awesome! The hotel is right on the beach as soon as you stepped out of the door you were on the golden sandy beach! The rooms were spotless! The staff were really friendly and there are shops across the road and so there is Aquapolis! I would rate this hotel ten out of ten.

Just got back yesterday, Saturday 10th June. Fantastic hotel great for families. Entertainment brilliant, food was fantastic and very friendly staff. Entertainment was mainly for families and wasn't really for older couples but it was still good. Be better for couples when kids are not on holiday.

This holiday was absolutely fantastic. It was the best holiday we could have hoped for. The hotel was amazing and so was the food.

We went to ibiza last year and was had food poisioning but at the Golden Donaire Park, my hats off to the chef it was delicious.

We will definately be going back as the weather was glorious. I couldn' t have asked for a better hotel and the entertainment was also very good.

They have a lot for the kids to do they even play bingo with us adults. The kids club was also good. My daughter enjoyed it a lot.

We're hoping to go back next year. This hotel was brill. I will recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a fantastic holiday.

Brilliant location for all whether you want a busy holiday or a relaxed holiday. Staff first class and very helpful. Kids' club staff very good with the kids.

Good choice of food. Located right on the beach. Great holiday. Can't wait - returning in six weeks.

The Golden Donaire Park Hotel was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It had great dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and great service!!.The best thing about Donaire is the way it is set out. You walk out of the main doors into the golden sandy beach, which is great to see!

The bars, night entertainment, kids' activites, both adult/kids' and baby pool are all amazing! Theres so much to do whatever the age you are!!!!

If you want to go to a hotel in La Pineda, go to the DONAIRE!!!!!!!!! It's a great place. Been there five times. Never ever get/got bored one little bit!! I love all the Donaire crew!!XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
