The three star Solimar Aparthotel is situated some 60 metres from the beach at Calafells, on the north east coast of Spain, approximately 50 kilometres from Reus Airport, 60 kilometres south of Barcelona and 50 kilometres north of Tarragona.

The accommodation at the Solimar comprises a number of standard rooms, terrace rooms and apartments, each having a private bathroom and most having a balcony or terrace. The apartments also have a kitchenette and lounge with sofa bed. The rooms are equipped with satellite television, a telephone and a safety deposit box. Terrace rooms have air conditioning from June until September.

The facilities at the aparthotel include a buffet restaurant, a bar, and a laundry. There are two swimming pools, a garden solarium and a children's play area. Some entertainment is provided in high season. The hotel is open from March until October.
