The five star Radisson SAS Hotel is located in the historic heart of Amsterdam, close to the central railway station and only 20 kilometres away from Schiphol Airport. The Amsterdam conference centre, RAI, is four kilometres away and can be reached by public transport. The hotel is close to most tourist attractions, including the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, De Hermitage Amsterdam, the Royal Palace, Dam Square and the flower market. The Radisson SAS features contemporary architecture bringing together several 18th century merchant houses, a former paper factory and a 19th century vicarage.

The hotel offers 242 air conditioned rooms and suites, including business class rooms and the luxurious 'Amsterdam' suite. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for the disabled are also available. Deluxe rooms are offered in three design styles: Art Deco, Scandinavian and Maritime. They are approximately 25 square metres in size and sleep a maximum of three people. They are equipped with wi-fi internet access, mini bar, espresso machine, television, bathroom with hair dryer, trouser press, safety deposit box, iron and ironing board, 24 hour room service and turn down service. Business class rooms are 30 square metres to sleep up to three people. They have the same facilities as deluxe rooms but with the addition of free in-house movies, free morning newspaper and a bathrobe and slippers. Executive rooms are 35 square metres for up to the three people. The 'Ruyschen' suite features a wooden floor, a kitchenette with microwave, multiple flat screen televisions and a bathroom with whirlpool. It is 50 square metres and sleeps two. The 'Amsterdam' suite has a separate sitting and dining area, a kitchenette and a Finnish sauna. It is 90 square metres and sleeps two.

Guests at the hotel have access to the hotel's fitness facilities with its sauna, solarium and gym (open from 06.30 – 22.00 hours daily). There is the 'De Palmboom' restaurant which serves international classics with a Dutch twist (open from 12.00 – 22.30 hours daily), while the 'Pastorie' bar, which used to be a 19th century vicarage, serves a variety of drinks and snacks (open from 17.00 to late every day). Furthermore, the hotel offers an area for receptions and gala dinners for up to 150 guests: 'Het Wapen van Amsterdam' on the fifth floor offers views of the city's canals and monuments. The hotel has 463 square metres in eight fully-equipped meeting rooms. The largest room is 209 square metres and the ceiling height is 3.2 metres. It can accommodate 160 for a large event, banquet or meeting. There are eight breakout rooms. High-speed and wireless internet access is in all meeting areas, rooms and suites, as well as audiovisual presentation equipment and natural daylight. All meeting rooms have recently been restyled in a Maritime theme with nautical touches. The hotel also offers a business centre.
