"Omar Apartment Was OK"
Travel date:
October 2007
I went and stayed at the Omar apartment with my boyfriend. I personally didn't think much to the apartment because the bath/shower leaked which made the bathroom soaked all the time (not very good)!
My mobile phone on the second day there got stolen out of the room we were in (not very good either)! The balcony was very big but the wall was falling apart which looked dangerous.
The pool was nice, just the right size, although there weren't very many sun beds round the pool so most of the time you had to sit on the floor.
Even so, we did have a brilliant holiday there. We went on a brilliant trip called 'Surf and Turf' which is a boat ride to see the dolphins and then an open jeep ride which is the best - great fun. I would recommend people to go on that one but don't wear white!
I would go back to Gran Canaria. Maybe try the Omar apartment again one day!

"Omar Apartments Were Great"
Travel date:
September 2007
I stayed in the Omar for two weeks in September last year and the same time the previous year. I thought all the staff were very polite and helpful.
Our apartment was also very clean. Our sheets could have been changed a bit more than once a week but who honestly changes their sheets at home more than once a week? We got fresh towels all the time and they even did our dishes! Bonus. The only thing was, we had a few cockroaches but I think that was our fault as we did leave our apartment patio doors open at nights. All in all though it was a fantastic holiday and I cant wait to go back again in October 2008!

"Omar Apartments Were Good"
Travel date:
August 2007
This was my first holiday away with my friends and I have to say it was amazing! The Omar was a good size and I think we had the biggest balcony! It overlooked all the night life and we usually just sunbathed there instead of the pool.
Pool was average size and had a wee snack bar which made nice food. Can't complain about the apartments itself. We had a few problems with the maids not cleaning our rooms but that got sorted.
Only downfall is that there's quite a walk down to the night life, which isn't too bad walking down, but hellish when you have had too much to drink and you're trying your best to crawl back up all the steps, best get a taxi !
Night life is really good, although the PRs there are really irritating - they just can't take no for an answer if you don't want to go into their bar/club!
I would recomend the club 'Jokers' which is open until 7 in the morning, really good atmosphere. Also the 'Bora Bora' bar, 'Snoopy's' and 'Cosmopolitan's' were really good! Overall great holiday!

"Omar Apartments Review"

The Omar were really great apartments to stay and made my trip to Puerto Rico complete. The staff were brilliant and really helpful, the apartments were very clean and well decorated. Glasses, cups and pans etc are all supplied. The balconies are really spacious and clean.
The food in the hotel restaurant was really nice and quite cheap, there is also a nice bar which sells food and drinks by the pool. They also have a small shop which sells most of the essentials!
While we were there it was quite busy but not too busy, people around but the pool wasn't overcrowded. Overall i would recommend Omar to all as they cater for everyone and im sure you would have a lovely stay.
There's lots to do in Puerto Rico, its quite expensive compared to some places but is reasonable if you look around. I went with my boyfriend and we took £950 spending money and that was just enough to be able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about money. If you are going to the Omar enjoy!!!
