The inside and outside of the Pazo do Castro Hotel in O Barco de Valdeorras combines the old and modern. It maintains the typical Galician structure of the 'pazos' and has views of the Sil Valley.

The hotel's rooms have been restored to maintain the old structures and are also equipped with a bathroom, air conditioning, television, telephone, music, safety deposit box and laundry. Some of them have a mini bar.

There are also two private dining rooms, a conference room, indoor swimming-pool, tennis and paddle court, library, garden a small museum with objects belonging to the Pazo do Castro, a chapel and a collection of antique furniture and pictures. The restaurant is on the ground floor and the hotel invites guests to taste a la carte dishes and special menus, varying according to the season.
