The two key Luz y Mar Apartments are situated some 500 metres from the beach, and 600 metres from the harbour, in the old town area of Puerto del Carmen, on the southern coast of Lanzarote, some eight kilometres from the airport.
The accommodation at the two storey Luz y Mar complex comprises 67 apartments, each having a private bathroom/shower, a kitchenette and a balcony or terrace. The rooms are all equipped with pay to view satellite television and a rental safety deposit box.
The facilities at the apartments include a bar, a swimming pool surrounded by sun terraces with sun beds and parasols, and currency exchange. There are a number of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
Board basis available at these apartments is self catering.

EEnjoyed our stay at the Luz y Mar. Apartment clean with towels being changed every other day and the bed linen being changed once a week. The cleaning staff came in every other day and washed all the floors.
It was in a nice location with a pool. Better still there was a pool bar open from 9.30 am until whatever time people stopped eating and drinking. Darren and Mandy, the owners of the bar, were very friendly and helpful. The food was of a good standard especially the full English breakfast and plenty of variety for lunch. Will definitely go back again!
