My husband and I stayed at the Rio Piedras with our two boys (11 and 16) for two weeks. I booked on the internet which I had never done before and was a bit unsure about the apartments as it was working out very cheaply.

I had no call to worry. The apartments were brilliant and very close to the beach and the centre where all the action is. I would highly recommend as they are not only great apartments but they are also on ground level - no hills to climb. If I go back to Puerto Rico I will go to the Rio Piedras for sure.

I have given a rating of nine but it would have got ten if the entertainment had been better.

My wife and I have stayed four weeks in the Rio Piedras in February/March every year for the last 15 years. So this lovely apartment hotel is a home away from home for us.

It is close to the sea and just across the street there is a public swimming pool heated up to 28 degrees until the end of March.

The staff at the Rio Piedras is kind, helpful and competent. It is to be recommended highly.

This is our second year at the Rio Piedras Apartments and it truly is the best place to stay.

The apartments are very clean and spacious and very well equipped and come with a super balcony with stunning views.
Great location only five minutes from the shopping centre and two minutes from the beach.

The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The pool and restaurant on top of the roof is outstanding.

We would not stay anywhere else and would recommend the Rio Piedras to anyone.

We loved it. It was clean and when you did see the cleaners they were all really friendly. I would recommend the Rio Piedras hotel to couples.

I first stayed at the Rio Piedras in November 1987 when I celebrated my 18th birthday. We loved it so much we returned in August 1988. The gardens were beautifully kept and apartments were very clean. My most vivid memory of them was the huge balcony we had. Its lovely to read that they are still highly recommended. Looking forward to returning soon.

The Rio Piedras apartments were really fantastic, so good we have booked up for the second time now to go back there in June. The staff and maintenance workers are absolutely wonderful - kind, caring and helpful!

Can't wait to go back there! The rooms were spotless (before children) and everything in general was tidy and very clean!
