Just back from Gran Canaria and booked the Boston apartments with Sunway on line. A complex of 20 apartments and one is occupied by the owner. They are in a fantastic location and never needed once to go in a taxi.

The only negative aspect of apartments were the towels which were almost thread bare and the curtain in the shower could do with being longer as water went all over the floor. Otherwise a brilliant experience.

What can I say? Just back from a week's stay in Porto Rico and am already planning to go back there.

The Boston apartments were great. The fact that there were only 21 apartments meant everybody got on so well and friends where made. They were kept very clean and the cleaners were in every day, except two, to keep them that way.

The pool was lovely and there was not one complaint that I heard about it. The apartments are ideally located about five minutes from restaurants, pubs and shops.

Lastly, the guy looking after it was very helpful and really friendly.

Apartments are spacious and in ideal location opposite bars and restaurants. Beach ten minutes walk away. This was our second time back in three years and hopefully returning later in the year. Only bad points are that the beds are rubbish but after a few cheap drinks doesn't matter as you would sleep anywhere.

Two adults and four children in our party for October school half term. Location very close to shopping centre with plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants just across the road. As apartments are at bottom of valley, very few steps to climb unlike most other hotels and apartments in Puerto Rico, which are nearly all situated on hillsides. Bit noisy at night as bars don't shut until after 2.00 a.m but that suited us.

Quite a few people experienced painful rashes after staying in pool for any length of time, so it's a must to have poolside shower after swimming.

Accommodation basic and poorly maintained, with put you up bed worse for wear and no replacements available. Also found six cockroaches in our apartment during fortnight stay, but apparently this is common in Gran Canaria.

Mix of ages holidaying here and our kids made plenty of friends. Travelled with First choice, but I think this is last year they'll be operating at these apartments. Most people staying here ended up as friends and many an evening/night spent socialising around pool and bars. Don't come here for a quiet holiday but if you want a lively holiday for family and kids, it's ok.

There were nine of us staying in the resort and we had two apartments. Both of our rooms had stuff going missing – money, fags, alcohol, clothes, shoes, jewellery, perfume, aftershave, make up - the works, but the best thing was they were cleaning the outside of the apartments with bleach which was leaking into the swimming pool and which burnt four out of our party around the groin, armpits and nipples. Another party had children and they were all burnt under the arms and we were told they had stuff go missing too. We spoke to our rep and he told us that they had never had a complaint about things before and basically called us liars. Total disaster, would never go back in a million years. If you want a decent holiday please do not go here.

The thing which impressed me so much was the location and the community - like vibe the apartments have. Situated two minutes from all the restaurants, bars and action. Superb. All of the other guests were superb too.

We stayed at the Boston Apartments and it was lovely. The guy that ran it was lovely and always said hi when he saw us. There were three adults and two kids and the location was spot on. It's only 20 steps or so from the main road and then its the shopping centre. We will be going back next year.

It was great at the Boston apartments, apart from the fact that they locked the gates at ten and my uncle went out that night and came back and slipped climbing over the gate.

Things went missing and on our first night, we were waiting for a room for ages. Then they gave my grandfather a key to a room, he went to the toilet and some women was in the bath but apart from that, it was fine. I didn't complain.

I went to stay in the Boston Bunglaows and I thought it was brill. It has good reception and service and the pool is great. It has a baby pool as well and the rooms are good. It has nice apartments .

It is a good place to meet new people. It has good access to the main shopping centre because it is right across the road and good views of places. I would like to go back but it is too dear.
