The apartments were great. Perfect distance from nightlife, not too far not too near! The beach, aqua park -every thing was close by. But the best for the ladies was sexy bar man Ranelle!!! Very, very sexy - he alone would make us wanna go back. Caribe was worth the money!

Caribe was a pleasant surprise for us three girls. It was our first holiday abroad together and we weren't sure what to expect. Other reviews seem to say different, but we found all the staff to be friendly and the young lad behind reception was always up for a laugh with us!

Food was good, the pool was nice and a decent size, and there were plenty of sunbeds to go round, even though it became quite busy of an afternoon. It was pleasant to sunbathe there as an alternative to the beach, even though the beach was only a five minute walk away anyway.

Apartment rooms were nice and cool and of a decent size and the balconies overlooked the pool and the tennis courts. We had only one cockroach in the bedroom during two weeks, though we saw quite a few outside. Apartments were cleaned regularly and the cleaners were always friendly when they come into your apartment!

As a resort, Playa de las Americas was a great place to stay, full of young people up for having fun which is what we wanted from our holiday! You find your favouriote clubs and bars pretty much straight away, our favourite bar being Linekers to join in with the silly singing and dancing, or rags to dance the rest of the night away! If you're not up for a laugh and a party, Playa de las Americas might not be the place for you but I'd definitely recommend it!!
