Went to the Marina Madrid as it was advertised as small and friendly. Main hotel building is badly in need of renovation although kept clean. Hotel also has apartments next door and a further three apartment blocks at the rear so it gets really crowded.

Restaurant and bar staff are very unfriendly and in some cases were downright rude. We were bed and breakfast which was boring after the third day.

Resort is terrific for couples and families. Would go again but this time would give the Marina a wide berth.

The new (2005) apartments are spacious, light, cleaned daily and all with a view of the bay.

Breakfast is all that you want on a holiday, good and simple fare. Eat it out on the terrace and enjoy the tranquillity of this delightful resort.

There can be a bit of a race to get sun beds some days but it is a lovely sandy beach in front of the hotel so if you miss out, go buy your own parasol from the Spar shop (10 euros).

Staff are ALWAYS helpful and attentive. We will be going back for sure.

Lovely location, ask for a sea view. Breakfast very basic but adequate. I would stay there again.
