Stayed in a studio apartment at the Tinerfe Garden. The sheets were worn and had holes in them and the beds were so uncomfortable, you could feel the old springs through the worn mattresses. This was bad for our backs, so we had to sleep in the sitting on a settee.

Cockroaches creeping around the floor and found on the kitchen work surfaces. The electricity failed and we had workers in trying to fix it. Cooking utensils were rough and so was the patio furniture - split chairs. The hot water failed at one point and we had to call out for help. The fridge was pretty rough and needed cleaning. Never again.

Review title: "Brlliant Place To Stay"
Travel date: April 2007
Tinerfe Gardens is a marvellous place to stay. It is suitable for all ages. For older people it is great as if they not looking for a eventful holiday, it is always quiet and peaceful in the complex. For people between the ages of 20-40, it is also a very good place as the position of the complex is brilliant as you are right beside lots of shops, restaurants and most of all, the pubs! It is also a great place for kids as the complex is very safe and the kids could kick about the place without you getting worried. There is also the pool and table tennis which could keep them occupied.

I went on this holiday for a short break of four days. The room, when we found it, was great. I couldn't believe that we got all this for what we paid for the apartment. And the best bit of the apartment must be the patio - it was massive plus we had a small tree in our back and it kept the sun coming right into the apartment. For a family holiday it is great and actually for any kind of holiday it's just a brilliant place to stay. Please go!

Review title: "Fab Bungalow"
Travel date: January 2007
Fab accommodation. Everything looked new. Power shower was great after day at beach. Although a studio, we had loads of room. Like a big hotel room with added kitchen and terrace which we had breakfast on and sun bathed everyday. Close to pool and although the pub was close, to us it meant we could have a drink if we wanted and not have to worry about the kids too much as they could sit on terrace and see us and we could see them. I think a lot are privately owned so all are different inside. Would go back to this bungalow.

Review title: "Filthy"
Travel date: August 2006
Two adults, two children. Main concern was the cleanliness of the apartment. Got what we expected in the way of utilities etc. Toaster and kettle were a bonus. Apartment was spacious but dirt is a big no no. Sheets were changed once over 14 nights, towels were changed whenever the cleaners felt like it. I use the term cleaners loosely. The balcony furniture was fit only for the bin, internal furniture not much better. Dust and grime throughout the whole apartment. Toilet seat was cracked and split but to be fair, it was changed after complaint. Over all, if they employed cleaners that would do a proper job and upgraded some of the dilapidated furniture, it might just be become a half decent complex. Get your act together Tinerfe garden and clean up.

29 of us went on holiday. We had seven apartments between us. We had two two bedroom apartments, four one bedroom apartment and a studio. Each of us was very pleased with the services provided. Our apartments were cleaned every other day with clean towels, bed linen etc.

Great pool and pool bar to chill out and enjoy. When we left the resort, we were very convenient to bars which served a selection of food to meet everyone's taste. Great music and entertainment for all to enjoy. Also San Eugenio shopping centre where you can shop till you drop. Excellent Markets a short taxi ride away, not forgetting a great beach and Aqua Land for the children, who all had a wonderful time.

The apartment was so dull, dreary and filthy. The coffee table was all cigarette burns, cockroaches and spiders everywhere. Disgusting. Booked up for two weeks but lasted three nights and as for the balcony, full of bird droppings and, wait for it, we had a big dirty tree stump in it. Wouldn't stay there if you paid me.

My first experience of Tinerfe Gardens was a family holiday. The apartment that was provided was above and beyond what was expected. It provided us with more than enough space for a family of five. We returned the following year and again were more than happy with the service that we received. It is in a central location and was a perfect home for me when I returned the following month to work in Tenerife for the summer. Mick who worked in the garden bar was exceptionally friendly and offered useful information for both me and my partner regarding job vacancies in the area. Thank you to all at Tinerfe Gardens and I hope to see you all again in the near future.

A warning from experienced travellers! We arrived there by an unholy accident and
have never experienced such a dump. Horrid, filthy and worn down. A shame for all of the the Canary Islands.

Don't even think of getting there. Why the place has a two keys rating is the millenium question. It should have had a padlock.

Review title: "Dirty, Filthy, Horrid - Tinerfe Garden Apartments."
Travel date: April 2006
Having just returned from a week at the Tinerfe Garden Apartments, our experience was unfortunately that it was dirty, filthy and horrible. Basic is acceptable. Dirty is just not, especially with children. Had we been single and out to party, then we probably would not have minded where we slept, showered or ate! Never again.

The main road was noisy and right outside our window. Perfect for girly holidays, definitely not for a family. Clean it up, guys, yak!

Review title: "Tinerfe Gardens Is Greatly Positioned"
Travel date: February 2006
The accommodation is excellent. The room had everything you need. As a student holiday, we just used the room to get ready and sleep. It's the positioning of the place that we found so convenient. Turning right from the reception area was a long strip of bars and restaurants.

Snoopy's Pub and Planet Football are great places to hang out. The bar staff are very friendly. Other bars like Garfields offer the same kind of entertainment. Snoopy's seems to have a more light hearted, friendly and dare I say... cheesy... way of working. They just go the extra mile to entertain rather than your usual karaoke bar. Restaurants such as The Ship, Chaplins and Hernandes gave us great breakfasts and evening meals. Turning right from the complex leads you to St Eugenio centre. Shops galore and it's all fairly cheap for aftershave and even jewellery and electrical goods (if you don't mind haggling)

If you are looking for a nice, young and fresh place to stay then this is it! Only five minutes from the beach (if you figure out the short cut - ask the doorman at Snoopy's, he knows it).

Review title: "Great Clean Place"
Travel date: January 2006
Overall a very good apartment. Me and my girlfriend are both 21 and went for a chill out holiday and the room was great and clean. I thought it was better than a two star. I've been in worse three stars!

The only problem I had was that the hot water for a shower didn't last long and it took ages for the cooker to heat a pan of water. The area where you can sit out was massive.

Close enough to Playa de Las Americas if you want to go to Veronica's every night but nice and quite in the day so you can chill out. Also plenty of good bars around the apartment such as St Eugens and O'Reily's Bar just over the road.

Review title: "Excellent Accomodation"
Travel date: November 2005
Having stayed at the Tinerfe Garden by accident three years ago, we have been going back for one week in November every year since. It is an ideal and safe location due to the entrance gate. Young kids are not near the road. The Euginio shopping centre is next door and lots of pubs and restaurants are close by especially the wee chippy across the road. Yes, definitely recommend!

Review title: "Tinerfe Garden Is The Best!"

Tinerfe Garden is a great place to stay if you are over for the nightlife! No one bothers you and nice and quiet for when you have a hangover next day round the pool!
