We have owned time at the Los Olivos apartmants for five years now and had a great time every year. So what if the rooms are not fabulous - they are cleaned every day. If you want all the comforts of home, stay at home!

"Ideally Located Apartments - Go On, Book It Now!"

Well, I have had time share in Los Olivos since 1999 (which most of the apartments are). They are clean and basic. The staff are very friendly. Yes, they were renovated in 2000, not all, but most. The sunbeds now get chained up at night and unlocked at 9 a.m., there are more parasols now than in previous years, the pool bar area has been taken over and renovated and it now has a shelter above your head for a cooling place to sit and have a drink or have lunch which is very reasonably priced.
You cannot fault the area of Costa Adeje. It is an ideal place to stay if you have a young family or if you just want away from all the hustle and bustle of Las Americas. Ideal for water sports as you are right on the beach. Plenty of good restaurants and family bars. Well patrolled for the time share touts and the police are not long in sending them on their way.
The last time I visited was July 2006 so some things might have changed but I'm heading there this year.

"Los Olivos Beware!"

The location of these apartments would be hard to beat but the standard of individual apartments is a big let-down. The first apartment we were given was a dank ?hole' with a noisy, rickety ceiling fan and no way had it been renovated in 2000. Our second apartment was slightly better, much brighter and with a roof terrace! There was internal renovation going on in some of the apartments facing the beach end but it seemed to be all Russians in these.
The cleanliness of the rooms, pool area, etc could not be faulted and the staff were helpful. There was also a regular security patrol. Getting a pool lounger was the usual problem - not enough to go around! If you can guarantee getting a good apartment, go ahead but there are loads of modern complexes in the surrounding area most of which are four or five star. Costa Adeje area is superb.

"Los Olivos"

The apartments were nearer to the beach then I expected. We got a ground floor apartment which meant a patio area and grass which meant if we wanted to, we could relax on the grass or have a drink on the patio area. If you are on the front (like we were), you will always hear people walking down to the beach but it was never noisy. The hotel had covered the garden edges with hedges so no one could look in. The cleaners came everyday and cleaned the apartment, the staff were friendly and we felt safe. Ideal location for shops, bars etc. Would definitely return! Costa Adeje is a lovely place!

"Los Olivos, Relaxing!"

Los Olivos was a great resort. I would be pleased to go there anytime again. At first I wasn't so sure but everyone was friendly and the cleaners cleaned our rooms every morning unless we didn't want them to.
I was only there for a week but it was a pleasurable week. The pool was a decent size and everyone staying there was friendly. I felt I could relax and I felt safe with all the security at night.
The resort is close to everything shops, pubs, clubs and most importantly the beach was lovely. I mean, there were the odd little things like one bed was kind of uncomfortable and felt like the people before us had been bit large and made the bed sink but apart from that it was great. I will be sure to come back anytime.
