This was a very friendly hotel. Staff were very nice, food good. Could not complain overall. We, six women aged 40s, had a fantastic holiday at the Fanabe Costa Sur.

Nice clean hotel but found it could get noisy with the inmates due to tiled floors and maids starting early. Lovely pool but hell of a job to get a sun bed, but lovely snacks at poolside, albeit expensive! Advertised disco waste of time and never seemed to have a disco while I was there.

Booked bed and breakfast but only ate breakfast twice as was like a cattle market, as the layout was very bad in the restaurant especially with kids running around adding to the confusion. Found it easier to eat out and was cheap. Quite a long haul to come back up the tiled hill especially in heels as nearly slipped a few times (not drunk!)

Nice layout though and very clean everywhere. Waste of time for the gym as nobody ever there and locked! Rate the Fanabe Costa Sur seven because clean and looked great.
