The Cape Colom hotel is bright and clean but the food is awful! If you like tripe, tongue and rabbit for dinner, then this is the place to go otherwise don't. It was a poor all inclusive hotel as what they term as snacks are actually left overs and you have to pay for ice-creams.

The area is also quiet mostly residential and didn't appear very clean and there are very few bars and shops so there is little to do. Over all it was a poor holiday.

We didn't stay here in 2002 but there is not box available for 1969! Is this the same hotel in which we spent our honeymoon in 1969? I think it is but it was then called Las Palomas or something similar. Obviously the resort will have changed much since then but the position of this hotel is outstanding and cannot be too affected by development. From seeing photos of the harbour, it looks as if this has not changed much in 36 years either! We would love to return if this is the same hotel.
