"Perfect For Groups"

Just had an awesome seven night holiday at the Villa Nova. Ten lads and it was perfect for us. On the beach and a short walk or four euros taxi to the clubs.
Everyone friendly - staff and fellow guests. Rooms basic but that's what you expect when you pay peanuts for it. Loved it. Highly recommended for young groups

"Villa Nova!?!"

Well, what can I say? There is no reception at the Villa Nova, the cleaner doesn't change the beds, only makes them and the rooms are dull and nasty.
But the holiday is what you make it! We went with Club 18-20 and made the most of it. I will be coming back. The bar staff downstairs lets you take drinks up to your room and is proper nice.

I stay at the Villa Nova regularly. The owner, Catarina, is a lovely lady. Her staff and sons are the best - friendly and polite - what more can I say? I'm definitely going back regularly. In fact, I'm trying to book now.
Catarina will go out of her way to accommodate you. Clean rooms, practically on the beach and close to everything you need really.

"Super Hostel"

We have literally just stepped off the 'plane from staying at this super place. We were in our family's apartment in Son Caliu, which was a bit of luxury, but because its in a residential area, we decided to find something a bit more lively.
Well what could have been better than the Villanova. It's across the road from the beach, supermarket and cafe/bar underneath. Buses and taxis right in front, what more could we wish for. The room was big, held three single beds, functioning kitchen and bathroom and was so CHEAP. Lady cleaned everyday, towels changed daily. We will certainly be using the Villanova again and again. 10/10.

The bar was good, the barman friendly. If you arrive drunk, the receptionist carries you to up the stairs - great! However, the food was absolutely awful (they have these two sausages that are stuck together with some sort of cling film around them).
The hill is the worst thing though. After a couple of days your legs really start to ache from the strain of the hill. Too far to walk as well if you're drunk in Magaluf.

"Villanova Hostel Is Super"
Travel date:
April 2004
I stayed at Villanova Hostel in April 2004 and everything about it is absolutetly terrific. The rooms were clean - someone came in every day to clean them. The location is super - it is just across the road from the beach. Underneath the rooms is a terrific cafe with very cheap prices for meals and snacks. The Villanova Hostel is so good that I am trying to book for August this year for my 50th birthday.
It is that good I was at Arnenal in November 2004. It was full board package but I didn't like it, even on my first day. I just put my cases in my room and got a bus to Palma Nova to see if I could book into the Villanova but unfortunately it was the end of the season. It was closed so I had to stay in a hotel I didn't like. I most certaintly will be doing my best to book for this year sometime. I would give it 10 out of 10 in every aspect.
