"Why Stay At Oliver Hostal ?"
Travel date:
June 2007
I am a 17 year old student from England who fancied a short break away from rainy England. I, like many people when you hear the word hostel, think, no thanks, but a Spanish hostal is a bed and breakfast.
The owners and their family are very kind and helpful they make you feel like you are at home as soon as you arrive. The rooms, well if its size you're after, you will love the size of the bed rooms. Each room has its own private balcony which is a good size.
If you enjoy swimming, you will love the swimming pool. It's not large but not small, but hey, at least you have one.
If you decide to hire a bike, there is a lock up space for the bike. I hired my bike for three days to travel to different towns and the three beaches which took ten to 15 minutes to get to.
The small boat village where the hostel is has many restaurants, bars and three small supermarkets which sell every thing that you need. I would love to stay there again.

"Excellent"

Well, we went to Hostel Oliver in 2006 and found it really good. We went because we know the people who own it and we just wanted a quick break so we stayed there for a week.
Our flight arrived in at 12.30 and the owners stayed up and waited for us to arrive. They gave us a room which was immaculate. As I had kids with me, we had quite a big room.
The people were so kind, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. As I said, I have kids but there are three kids who live in the hotel so the hostel does cater for children. They have a small yet nice sized pool.
I loved my stay at Hostel Oliver because, as well as all that, it was very near to the village.

"A Place Where You Feel Welcome"

Hostel Oliver is a most welcoming hostel with friendly staff who speak good English. The owners make you feel that you have been friends for a long time, and as for the meals, well they are good, perfect. The portions are large, the presentation is on par with any hotel whatever the star rating.
At present the area is primarily used by German holiday makers but they are also a friendly bunch who are clean and went out of there way to make friends.
