Have stayed at the Santa Fe bungalows six times in the past, but on arrival this year at 20.00 hours, the reception area was boarded up with chains round the door. I had booked four weeks from Co-Op Travel, paying around £900. Unable to see anyone about the place, I had to book into a nearby hotel for the night, hoping that someone might be at the bungalows the next morning. However this was not the case and the place remained closed up and shuttered/chained. Looks like the place has gone into liquidation.

When we arrived at the reception, we were greeted by the owner and driven round to our bungalow as we had our three children's travel cots put in the room straight away. The accommodation was very clean. Our bungalow was regularly cleaned. The area was very private and the pool was very clean.

The beach and local attractions were very close but just far enough from the night life as we had our children. Our transfers from the bungalows were on time and overall we had the best time ever. I would definitely recommend the Sante Fe to others.

Other than a bit of an ant infestation and the odd cockroach (only to be expected), a very basic bungalow but it was clean and well serviced. As they are bungalows, I think they would be very easy to break in to, particularly as the locks on the French doors weren't very strong. Beautiful swimming pool.

As a gay traveller, the Santa Fe wasn't a great location. Ten minutes walk to the Yumbo but 20 minutes to the Riu Palace (the entrance to the dunes) then another 20 minutes walk to the nudist/gay beach.

I stayed at these bungalows for a month in June 2005 and they were brilliant! The staff were friendly and very helpful, maid service was good also!

The bungalows are basic but very pleasant to stay in, both of the pools are very clean and the snack bar at one of the pools offers a wide variety of snacks to suit all. I stayed at these bungalows last year on holiday too and to be honest I wouldn't think to stay else where!

The bungalows cater to all ages due to them being close enough to the centre for young people and far enough away at the same time for families with young children. Our bungalow was facing on to the road and the noise level was fine, hardly any traffic. I would recommend these bungalows to anyone, young, old, couples and families with small children.

The bungalows are right in the middle of Playa del Ingles but feel as if they are further out. The two pools were the cleanest I have encountered and the poolside bar served great food. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and maids cleaned the bungalows on a regular basis. We have two children and were allocated one of the bungalows that had fencing around the patio therefore the children were able to play safely with us knowing they wouldn't be able to run out. These are limited so may not be available to all with young children, we were just lucky. Overall I would say we had a better location than most of the other hotels with nicer surroundings. A+++ and are returning there again this year!!!

Santa Fe Bungalows are a fantasic place to stay. They are central to everything and the staff within the complex were very friendly. Its an ideal hoiday and the location is great as the surroundings cater for all ages.
