The Sol Barbacan apartment complex is situated in the tourist resort of Playa del Inglés, 500 metres from the city centre, one mile from Playa del Inglés beach and golf courses and six kilometres from Playa de Maspalomas beach.
There are 93 apartments and 57 bungalows, each with a bathroom, kitchenette and satellite television.
Facilities at the Sol Barbacan complex include a breakfast and dinner buffet, a la carte restaurant 'El Portalón', bar, supermarket, car park, swimming pools, including two heated pools and one for children, jacuzzi, mini club, table tennis tables, tennis, volleyball, pool tables, lounge and television room.
Board basis available at these apartments is self catering, bed and breakfast or half board.

Myself and two mates stayed at the Barbacan for one week and it was absolutely fantastic! The place was always clean and tidy and the staff were really helpful. Also there is a shop adjoining the hotel so you don't have to go far if you need that drink of water in the morning!
It is a stone's throw from the Yumbo centre (a five minute walk) and is very quiet at night - we didn't hear a sound! Air con is a great bonus as it does it warm.
It's slightly more expensive than some other places I've seen but I think it is worth that extra few euros!
