"Pleasant Hotel In Quiet Resort"
Travel date:
December 2007
Have just returned after spending Christmas and New Year at this hotel. Hotel a little tired and dated (more three than four star), although the food and service were excellent.
Entertainment poor and very low key, especially taking into account that there is little else to do in this very quiet resort. The pool areas were overcrowded, the only bonus being that the hotel were true to their word and removed towels from reserved sunbeds before 10 a.m. It would be nice if there was more to do in the location without having to take buses and taxis - we like a stroll out and it becomes tedious strolling round the same square after a couple of nights! A couple of bars and some improved hotel entertainment would solve this problem. If you like all inclusive in a busy hotel in a quiet location and don't mind fighting for a sun bed, then this holiday is for you. The Taurito Princess hotel is not, however, worthy of its four star rating in comparison with other four star Princess hotels, many of which we have visited over the years. Good value for money though.

"Brilliant Hotel"
Travel date:
September 2007
Brilliant. If you want to sit in the sun and have a very relaxing holiday, as me and my partner did, then this is the place to stay. The Taurito Princess hotel staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and everywhere was very, very clean. The pool was busy in the day but you never had a problem getting a sun bed.
The beach was very short walk away and there were a few shops (a few gift and food shops, a bar and beauty salon etc) on the other side of the beach (two minutes walk) and from the hotel rooms you get a lovely view of the beach. The food was very nice and they did a nice selection of different food every day (never went hungry). Very nice hotel. Will definitely go back! 10/10!

"The Best Time Ever"
Travel date:

My husband and I, our three children and three other family members (two being children ) have just returned from a weeks stay at the Taurito Hotel. It was wonderful, from the rooms, the food, the entertainment, the pool, everything. We could not find one single fault. This was our first ever family holiday abroad in 17 years and we can't believe how lucky we were to find such a fantastic place to stay. We are all itching to return and I am in the process of searching for a good deal to go back next month. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff there, top marks to them all. Try it out, you can't fail to be impressed.

"A Fantastic Hotel"
Travel date:
September 2006
My husband and I have just arrived back from a fabulous stay at the Taurito Princess and what can we say? We had a late night flight and arrived at three in the morning. We were checked in and told that we could go to the dining room where there were ham and cheeses and breads available and beer and wine (of course). The food at this hotel was excellent for all inclusive. Very high standard and good quality and the choice was brilliant. We cannot fault the food at all. The alcohol was as usual in the Spanish islands and three times the measures here in the UK. You could have whatever you wanted really.
This hotel is non smoking though so for those who smoke, the bar upstairs was the only available place for outdoor seating and unfortunately there was not a lot. The pool was always clean and the hotel for that matter. Maid service every day. This resort is quiet so if you are looking for night life it is not for you, unless you do not mind taking a taxi in Puerto Rico itself which cost about seven euros before ten and about 12 after ten. Taxis were plentiful in Puerto Rico and the bars all stayed open till early sunrise. Happy hour all of the time so its two drinks for one.
Thomson offered a few trips and we took the VIP Catamaran but it cost £40.00 sterling per person but was not worth it. It took us to basically outside the hotel to swim which was a bit ironic. If you are doing excursions, book them yourself. There is a doctor's surgery on the hotel site. Children were well catered for with a mini club but I have to say the evening entertainment was a bit dull. If you were there for two weeks I am sure it would be a bit irritating but they did try.
Overall though we just cannot complain. It was one of the best all inclusives we have stayed at. If you are going to go to Gran Canaria, stay at this hotel. You will not be disappointed. It cost approx 25 euros to get a taxi to Playa del Ingles but the hotel also did a courtesy bus on a Saturday. There was also a courtesy bus to the market in Puerto Rico but be warned, the entire hotel wants to go to this so places are limited. Get up early and be first in line!
On our last day our flight was not until 3 a.m. We had our all inclusive bands left on all day and luckily for only 30 euros we kept our room until midnight, when the coach picked us up. We were first of many hotels so the wait at the airport was non existent. We had full use of the hotel facilities and the food and drink until we left. If you are on a late night flight we suggest you extend your room. It was lovely to be able to get showered and pack throughout the day. I hope this helps.

"Taurito Princess Hotel"

What a fantastic hotel this is. The food is brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. It was great to be able to go in for breakfast and then around 10 a,m,, to be able to get a choice of a sun bed. We have never been able to do that before. The hotel was full as well! I would recommend the Taurito Princess as it has everything you could want from an all inclusive.

"Pure Luxury!!"

There were six in our party - three adults and three children and we had a fantastic time. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday you'll get it here. The staff can't do enough to help you and are very friendly. The food is amazing. We just ate, drank and sunbathed all holiday. What else do you go away for? There's plenty to keep the kids entertained in the day.
The only thing I will say is the entertainment is not too impressive but you can always catch a taxi to Puerto Rico if you are bored!! Excellent hotel. We'll be going back again.

"Taurito Princess Difficult To Book Online!"
Travel date:
December 2005
My partner and I stayed in the Taurito Princess over the New Year 2005 and really enjoyed it. Food excellent, pool facilities very good, entertainment OK. Just finding it impossible to book accommodation for next January/February online. Very frustrating.
