The Tabaiba Princess is hotel was recommended and I wasn't disappointed at all. I went with on my own with my two children aged nine and 12. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The food was nice though did feel they could have offered more for the children on the evening meal.

The entertainment was average but watchable. Not sure why the Brits could only go half board whilst the Germans went all inclusive so would recommend you look in to that before you book.

The swimming pools were lovely - very clean and easily relaxed. Overall a great stay. Will definitely be going back.

Not greatly impressed to be honest. The Tabaiba Princess hotel is spilt into two mirror imaged halves, one side for the half boards and one side for the all inclusives.

Thomson's brochure states that the food is 'outstanding' - errrm, no. What I will say is the food does stand out as being no different to any other Canarian hotel at this level. Don't get me wrong, the food is nice but it certainly is not outstanding. Gents have to wear sleeves and trousers/jeans etc to the restaurant for dinner but women can saunter into dinner wearing whatever it is they have been sweating in for hours around the pool. Call me picky but A: it seems like one rule for one and B: i don't particularly want some woman's pale bikini clad nether regions wobbling past me while I'm eating.

Waiter service in the piano bar is pretty good but a couple of the waiting staff can be a bit moody. Hit the piano bar between 5 and 6 o'clock - happy hour, two for one. Want a lie in in the morning? Then make sure you're not on the ground floor as what sounds like a cackling of witches arrives into the corridor to apparently work but what seems mainly to chat. Maid service was good and everyday, except for not cleaning under the beds. My wife retrieved a misplaced top at the end of our stay so the maids had obviously not moved the beds at all. Towels are apparently changed if left on the floor. Funny that, as ours were folded up and put back on the shelf.

Pool side food is again mediocre with the snack bars basically serving toasted sandwiches. Main pool restaurant stretched to salads and pizzas but again, they're nothing to write home about and were bland. Fancy a burger and fries for lunch? You do!? Well tough, as the pool side bar that serves said fare is for the all inclusive guests.

Thomson sell this hotel on a platinum basis and I cannot see why. Personally, I'd say it was more tin, or aluminium. Doubtful I'll be staying here again.

Excellent accommodation. Had a pool view. Food fab. Rooms immaculate and cleaned daily with fresh towels and beach towels. Staff were brilliant. Facilities super.

Great location as you can get taxis into Meloneras, Playa del Ingles etc. Would definitely recommend. Great activities team at hotel. Great fun.

The Tabaiba Princess Hotel is brilliant. It is perfect if you want a relaxing holiday in the sun! It is four star and the hotel provides great entertainment for everyone. I would advise you to go because it is an amazing holiday!!!
