Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas

The Riu Palace Maspalomas Hotel is situated 800 metres from the beach of Playa del Ingles and 500 metres from the El Faro shopping centre. The hotel is next to the Maspalomas sand dunes and is set in gardens.

This Riu hotel is built in colonial style and was renovated in summer 2003. The Riu Palace Maspalomas features a lobby bar, lounge bar with card games area and terrace, restaurant with non-smoking section and terrace, conference room with television and video, meeting room, sauna, wellness centre with different treatments, beauty salon and massage, hairdresser, boutique, souvenir shop, jewellery shop, kiosk and internet access. Outdoor facilities include a swimming pool that is heated in winter, swimming pool with counter-current swimming area, in-pool loungers and a jacuzzi that is heated in winter, children's swimming pool that is also heated in winter, lounge chairs, towels and sun umbrellas by the pool, sun terrace, jacuzzi in the garden, pool snack bar and children's playground. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with wholemeal products available, on the spot cooking station and cava. For dinner, the restaurants provide a chef's special of the day, cold and warm starters buffet and dishes prepared 'on the spot', main course served at the table, with a vegetarian dish available, dessert buffet and cheese cart. There is a theme buffet twice a week. Guests may also dine at the 'Rodizio' restuatant (Brazilian cuisine) or Grill 'Palace' restaurant which specialises in grilled fish and meats, on alternating days but prior booking is necessary.

The hotel has 368 guest rooms, all with a bathroom, hair dryer, fitted carpet, telephone, central air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-bar, satellite television, surround music channel, safety deposit box (for an additional charge) and a balcony or terrace. Most rooms have sea view and suites have a living room.

For those interested in sport, the hotel has table tennis, a gym, two floodlit artificial-grass tennis courts, pool tables and table football. Entertainment is in the form of live music and shows several times a week.
