We have just spent seven days over New Year 2006 at the Mirador, supposedly all inclusive. The food wasn't that good, nothing is all inclusive after 10.30 p.m and then the drinks are expensive. You have to sit around the pool bar to get all inclusive drinks as you are not allowed to take them into the so called 'entertainment bar' and that's another joke.

The staff are very rude and do not make you feel welcome. My son was escorted to the manager's office for holding on to a bridge over the swimming pool. But better than that, I was taken into the manager's office by security for moving a sun bed one foot after seven o'clock at night (unbelievable). You really need two weeks so you can learn all the rules and regulations.

If you want a sun bed, take an alarm clock. There is a certain nationality who seem to walk around all night with towels under there arms waiting to pounce. If you wish to take the free bus to the beach, wear extra padding and be prepared to wait for the next bus even if you are first in the queue! Never again !

Well, where shall I start? My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time on holiday at Maspalomas, however I would not return to this hotel again. There were many things we weren't told about the hotel but found out once we had arrived. Don't get me wrong, the hotel itself is stunning and very clean BUT: there is no air conditioning in the rooms and there isn't even any in the restaurant ? which, by the way, is more like a canteen - you have to pick up your own knives and forks and napkins!! The food is good with lots of variety.

The all inclusive part stops at 10.30 and you can only get your drinks on the AI from the one pool bar - the lobby/lounge bar you have to pay for your drinks as do you in the disco. There are not many alcoholic drinks to chose from in the pool bar, for example Malibu is not included and you have to pay for this - but what really made us laugh was that to have lime in your beer you had to pay for the lime as this is not free to AI guests??!!!

This hotel could be more like a four or five star hotel from the appearance but trust us, its not and after a day of rude hotel staff (they just grunt at you because they pretend they know very little English), you will find out what we mean, it is a real shame!!

Do go on the camel ride and the pirate ship. These were both great days out away from the hotel) and we would recommend them to everyone. Overall great holiday, just the hotel let us down.

This hotel is great, very clean, very spacious rooms, food good, pool area clean with lots of beds. I would go back here. There are alot of Germans, but we met several English families.

A bit out of Maspalomas but taxis are cheap. Entertainment every night, kids club and pools looked great. Too cold when we were there. We payed to move here when we ended up in a dump. Anyone who goes here will love it.
