The five star Grand Hotel Residencia is located in the area of Meloneras, just 200 metres from the beach of Maspalomas and with views of the sand dunes on one side and the mountains of Gran Canaria on the other. It is only five kilometres to Playa del Ingles. The Grand Residencia lies in the south of the island amidst a 1,000 year old palm oasis that is also a nature reserve.

Accommodation in the hotel is on offer in two-story villas, kept in a Spanish/Moorish style which are embedded in a tropical garden. The Gran Residencia serves authentic Canary Island specialities, but also international cuisine. Guests can start the day with a breakfast buffet on the terrace and a view across the garden to the mountains of Gran Canaria. In the winter, the hotel invites those wanting a snack during the day to a tapas buffet on the restaurant terrace and the hotel serves snacks and small dishes all year round at the pool snack bar. For dinner, there are a-la-carte menus and three times a week the hotel has alternating theme buffets outside under the stars or in the fully air-conditioned restaurant.
