Me and my partner went for a week in one of the bungalows. We had a fantastic time and the staff were very friendly. The pool side bar had entertainment and the food was excellent and with a lot to choose from. I couldn't fault the food at all.

Pearl made us feel so welcome and thanks to you both for making our stay so enjoyable. The bungalow was basic, but clean and we had everything we needed. A free bus to and from the beach and getting a taxi to neighbouring towns wasn't expensive, just a couple of euros, so wasn't too bad. The pool was a bit cold, but we did use it. I would like to return to El Cardonal. We really enjoyed our stay.

The El Cardonal bungalows are in need updating. On arrival, the pool looked nice and inviting. Couldn't open door to room without scrapping the tiles, stood inside and cried. Poor cooking facilities - couldn't use kettle and toaster at the same time as there was only one plug.

The pool was freezing cold. 53 bungalows and only ever saw half a dozen people around the pool area the whole time spent there.

The pool bar served basic cafe meals. No selection on the menu. Entertainment was the same every night - karaoke and a quiz and on one occasion this was shut. No entertainment for children.

El Cardonal is away from everywhere. Had to use taxis/free bus to the beach and shopping malls. Only one supermarket on the top of the hill next to restaurant, which i can recommend. However, my partner and I did book to see a show through the rep but we had to find our own way there and in total, the show cost us £99 plus £10 for the taxi there and back.

This has been our worst holiday we have ever had and I'm sorry to say but we will not be going back ever. It was a nightmare.

My family stayed at these apartments for Christmas and New Year. The bungalows were basic but clean. They had entertainment on most nights. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The only downside was the pool was freezing.

El Cardonal is an excellent place to stay. The accomodation is basic but clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and there is a bar on site that serves some excellent food. If you want to stay somewhere with a family atmosphere, then stay here.

I would like to thank all members of staff for the wonderful time we had. El Cardonal is such a relaxing place. The night time entertainment was superb. We also nhad great nights out.

I will certainly be returning within the next three years. I have highly recommended El Cardonal to my family and friends and to anyone else.
