The Bahia Meloneras Bungalows are located centrally in the Meloneras area of Gran Canaria, only 60 metres from the beach. The local beach has a small selection of beach front cafes and restaurants. A wider choice of restaurants and bars can be found in the main commercial centre half a kilometre away and the Maspalomas beach and sand dunes are one kilometre away.
Accommodation in the Bahia Meloneras complex is provided in duplex style two bedroom apartments which sleep up to six people. All of them consist of a kitchen, a terrace or balcony, bathroom, satellite television, CD player, telephone, air conditioning, safety deposit box, maid service five times a week and private lawn area.
Facilities at the bungalows include a restaurant, two pool bars (one serving snacks), swimming pool, two children's pools, sun terrace with sun beds and parasols, table tennis, pool tables, water volleyball, water polo, open air jacuzzi, mini market/souvenir shop, luggage room and money exchange. The Bahia Meloneras complex also provides a free shuttle bus to Maspalomas beach and sand dunes four times a day and occasional evening entertainment.
Board basis available at these bungalows is self catering, bed and breakfast or half board.

The accommodation was appalling. The cleaners were so rude. A number of people of people obtained injury from slipping at the poolside and a number of thing including money and handbags stolen from the bungalow.

The complex itself is beautiful, could not fault it. The location is also good as it is not in the centre of Maspalomas, just a little walk along the front to get to the beach or town centre. Near all the good shops and restaurants and the food at the apartments is also very nice.
The only fault was when we went we got there at three in the morning and the reception didn't open until 7.00 and we had to wait outside for four hours!

This place is fantastic! Myself, my sister and our partners went here for two weeks and loved it! It is quiet, clean and friendly, as well as having fantastic facilities.
The beach is really close and there is a pool on site with pool bar and a lifeguard. The restaurants along the beach are fantastic, and there is plenty to do in Maspalomas.
A short taxi ride (five euro) to Playa de Ingles, means going in to 'town' for a night of clubbing and pubbing, is easy and convenient.
I am only writing this review because I am trying to book to stay at Bahia Meloneras again!

My wife and our three children went to this place, what a lovely undiscovered place. Judging by the work going on nearby, it won't be that way very long!! If you want to lounge around a pool while the kids enjoy themselves this is the place. Clean rooms and just enough local restaurants to get by for a seven night stay
