If you are looking for good value for money but do not wish to compromise on quality, clean accommodation, then this is for you. The location of this hotel is excellent - central for all attractions. The metro is virtually right outside the door and easy to walk to the Ramblas and the uptown shops and boutiques in Placa Catalunya. Restaurants and bars are also close by with good choice of cuisine including German bar, Chinese, tapas etc.

We opted for a room with balcony which was great to soak up the atmosphere of the town but beware, it can be noisy all through the night from the sound of the traffic! The room was basic but modern and spotlessly clean, maid service with towels changed daily. Only faults for me were the lack of pillows. You are provided with only one which is quite flat. I did request another which they provided but this was taken away again the following night as more guests arrived. Also no provision for beverages in the room.

Breakfast is croissants and French toast with jam, coffee or tea and glass of orange. Nothing fantastic but again spotlessly clean and just enough to set you up for the day. Staff are fantastic and extremely helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again.
