Aparthotel Luna Holiday Complex

The Luna Holiday Complex Aparthotel is being refurbished and is closed until the 7th April 2009.

The three star Luna Holiday Complex is situated in the north part of the island, in the town of Mellieha. The hotel is five minutes walk from the beach in Mellieha bay.

The aparthotel opened in 1982 and offers 158 apartments and there are five different types of accommodations. Superior studios have two single beds, a sofa bed, kitchenette, en suite bathroom, air-conditioning, television and direct dial telephone. Standard studio apartments feature a double bed or twin beds, kitchenette, en suite bathroom, balcony, direct dial telephone and a ceiling/standing fan. These rooms have a view overlooking the street with a backdrop of terraced fields leading to the Sanctuary of Mellieha Church or a sea view. Standard studios have a capacity of two persons and a child. One bedroom apartments are made up of one double bed and two single beds, a kitchenette, ceiling /standing fan, direct dial telephone and an ensuite bathroom. All these apartments have a balcony. One bedroom apartments are available with a land view or a sea view and the maximum capacity is four persons. A two bedroom apartment features a double bed, two single beds, a sofa bed, kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, direct dial telephone, ceiling /standing fan and a balcony with a sea view. The maximum capacity is five persons. All apartments have a safety deposit box at an extra charge.

Facilities at the Luna holiday Complex include a reception open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, currency exchange, fax services, internet access, games room comprising a variety of video games, pinball, machines and pool table, a mini market situated at the rear of the complex and open seven days a week, internet cafe with high speed broadband internet access and located in the hotel's lobby, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, fitness room, scuba diving centre and swimming pools. Dining facilities include the 'Orion' restaurant open daily for breakfast and dinner a la carte (dinner is served al fresco on one of the terraces, weather permitting), the 'Don Tonino' coffee shop and wine bar, the 'Solaris' pool bar on the roof terrace and the 'Twilight' lounge bar by the ground floor pool and sun terrace and offering a large screen television for sporting events.
