Hotel Tryp Palma

The Tryp Palma Hotel is located in the city centre, close to the business district, banks, offices and the Plaza España (main bus and train station). It is ten minutes walk from the cathedral and the historical city centre. Furthermore, it is only half a kilometre from the beach, one kilometre from Bellver Castle and five kilometres from the golf courses of Son Vida and Bendinat. It is located just eight kilometres from Son Sant Joan international airport. The hotel was built in 2002 and was specially conceived for business men and women.

The hotel has 77 bedrooms of minimalist and functional design adapted to the business guest of today, including six junior suites and seven double rooms with lounge. All rooms have a bathroom with a hair-dryer and magnifying mirror, air-conditioning and central heating, satellite television, telephones, modem connection, mini bar and safety deposit box. Non-smoking rooms are available and there is a floor specially equipped for businesswomen. The hotel offers 12 hour room service.

This Tryp hotel features a restaurant-cafeteria 'El Café', which serves Mediterranean cuisine and offers an assorted buffet breakfast. Located on the ground floor, it has access both from the street and the hotel hall. There is a non smoking area.

During any free time, guests can enjoy the health centre with indoor pool, Turkish bath, jacuzzi and sauna. There is also a massage service. Guests are offered the use of two air conditioned meeting rooms 'Formentor' and 'Valldemossa' which have a capacity for up to 80 people.
