Hotel Castillo Son Vida

The Castillo Son Vida Hotel is surrounded by 500 hectares of subtropical parkland and has views of the bay of Palma. The façade of the hotel has been built to resemble the 13th century castle which originally stood on the site. The hotel is located only ten minutes away from the centre of Palma and 15 minutes from the international airport.

The hotel is accessed via a lane through the archway of the gatehouse. The hotel grounds house a swimming pool terrace shaded by tall palms, landscaped gardens and a second terrace which has views towards the sea. Other facilities include a covered swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness centre and beauty farm offering a range of treatments including facials, manicures, massage, hydrotherapy and hairdressers. In addition, the hotel has two 18 hole golf courses, the Son Vida Golf Club with its pine clad fairways encircling the hotel and the newer Son Muntaner course which is exclusive to hotel guests and has a golf school and range of practice facilities. The Castillo Son Vida has rooms for conventions and congresses, holding from 18 to 200 people.

There are two restaurants - the 'Bellver' and the a la carte restaurant 'El Jardin', both located on the fifth floor of the hotel in order to take in the views. Cocktails, snacks and afternoon tea are served on the 'Armas' bar terrace.

There are 170 bedrooms and suites in the hotel, all with air-conditioning, telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box and mini bar.
