Hotel Quinta Splendida

The four star Hotel Quinta Splendida is in a renovated 18th century Manor House, set in a 30,000 square metre botanical garden, some one and a half kilometres from the beach in Canico, about seven kilometres east of Funchal, on the southern coast of Madeira.

The accommodation, at the Quinta Splendida, comprises 141 rooms and 25 spa suites, mainly in low rise annexes set in the gardens, each room having a bathroom with hair dryer and a balcony, and being equipped with heating, satellite television and a safety deposit box. The suites also have a kitchenette, 42 inch plasma television and a PC with internet access.

The facilities, at the hotel, include two restaurants, two bars, a Thai lounge, 24 hour reception, internet access, a reading room and conference rooms. The hotel also has a heated swimming pool, a fitness suite, sauna, jacuzzi, a heated indoor pool, a putting green and the 'Quinta Splendida Spa' offering various baths and treatments.
