Hotel Sport Galosol

The four star Sport Hotel Galosol (previously Ondamar Hotel) is situated overlooking the beach at Canico de Baixo, about seven kilometres east of Funchal, on the southern coast of Madeira.

The accommodation, at the Sport Galosol, comprises 124 rooms, each having a bathroom with hair dryer, and being equipped with satellite television, a direct dial telephone, a mini bar and a safety deposit box. Superior rooms also have air conditioning. Four rooms have been adapted for use by disabled guests.

The facilities, at the hotel, include two restaurants, a bar, reception, internet access, two swimming pools with sun beds and parasols, a children's pool and playground, health centre with a fitness room, saunas, steam rooms, massage rooms, an indoor pool and thalassatherapy and beauty treatments. There are three squash courts, and a programme of entertainment is provided.
