The Hotel Teix is a cheap but clean hotel. We paid £390 for nine days in Magaluf bed and breakfast. Can't comment much on the breakfast because I didn't eat it.

Rooms could do with a lick of paint and I think it needs air conditioning. Hotel staff generally friendly. The bar staff were but some of the reception staff were a bit miserable but who cares. I would definitely recommend for young couples or singles - not suitable for families. I was expecting it to be really noisy but it wasn't that bad at all.

If you're looking for a place just to sleep there is nowhere better, why pay double to go to a three star when it isn't much better. Save money for more beer.

The hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment. It is very dated. We also did not have a toilet for three days and there were ants everywhere. Although the staff were friendly enough, they were not very fast at reacting to our needs (i.e. toilet!) Also, the light fittings were hanging off at the switches. If I went back to Magaluf, I would not be staying at the hotel Teix.

With regards to the last review in August, although the apartments are dated, I have never had so much fun! Okay, yes, they are not posh, but is there really any hotel in Magaluf that is! Affordable hotel that is! We had no problems at all. Room was spotless, no loose light fittings, no problems at all in fact! Perfect location for rolling home drunk! Met some great people! If I was to go back to Magaluf I would definitely stay there again!

I have stayed at the Teix for 15 years and find it a great hotel, friendly and lovely staff and will continue to keep visiting.
