The Majorca Beach hotel was good and we had a great time. Pleasant staff and no problems. Didn't try the food though. But why do that when the awesome 'Rambo's' is just a quick walk away. Head there for your food people and San Miguel pints for only 1.50 euros.

Me and my fiancé returned home yesterday from a one week stay at the Majorca Beach. Well, what can I say? The hotel itself was good but don't go half board because the food is disgusting (go to 'Tom Brown's' or 'Rambo's'). The entertainment is OK if you like playing bingo. We went to 'Benny Hill's' or 'Del Boy's' bar for a quiet night or 'Cayote Ugly' and 'Bacos' if you want a show. The karaoke bar is 'The White Horse', if that's what you like!
The hotel is right on the beach and only five minutes walk from the main strip. There was no noise at the hotel at night which was good, as we went away to get some peace and quiet. We would come back to this hotel again but next time we would go self catering because, as I said, the food is awful and by the way - make sure you hire a fan from the reception desk because the air con is rubbish. Anyway, have a nice time.

Stayed in the Majorca Beach for a week with two friends of mine in July! We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were greeted with extremely polite reception staff who were very helpful!
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The small shop in the hotel is well stocked and allows you to exchange money. We had a very regular maid service and had clean towels every day. Both pools are clean and have free loungers. However, if you want a space by the main pool, I suggest you get up super early! The pools have two bars which serve food and booze including cocktails. The beach is so close to the hotel. There's a small sand terrace which also supplies free loungers, which over looks the beach - fabulous!
We didn't really join in any of the hotel entertainment but quizzes, bingo and games are always put on for guests who fancy a quiet night in. Grant and John are fab! The food is lovely, always a nice variety but I think we did see cauliflower for breakfast one morning!
I would suggest you watch your bags when you do go out as someone did steal a very nice digital camera from my friend's bag. The only thing that did put a dampener on the holiday was our Escapades reps! They were quite rude. However, the reps we met from other hotels were brilliant. Overall, the holiday was amazing and we'll definitely be making an appearance next year!

Just returned from a week in the Majorca Beach with my husband, both in our 40s. Had read reviews before we went and was expecting a bit of noise - well, it is Magaluf.
Where do I start? We didn't have a full nights sleep all week. The noise would start at around 3 a.m. and go on until 6-7 a.m. Shouting, ringing our door buzzer, knocking doors, playing football on landings, the football banging the door and this was every night. This hotel should definitely carry a warning as it is advertised as 'suitable for all ages' but nearly all the guests are 18-25 year olds.
The main topic of conversation at breakfast, between the very few families and couples staying there, was how little sleep we managed to get the night before. It didn't matter which floor you were on, it was unbearable.

The hotel isn't far away from the night life, but it took us longer to get back in the nights after a few drinks! Our view from the room was lush too! Would recommend this hotel!

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Would say it's ideal for young people. Rooms were really spacious and clean. However, if you want clean towels, you have to ring reception and ask (otherwise you'd probably be left with the same towels all week).
Staff were friendly, especially the guy at reception and the security guard!
Hotel was in a really good location with the beach less then a minute's walk and the main strip five minutes away!
The food was probably the best bit of the hotel. There was loads to choose from - too much choice even! I would definitely go back to the Majorca Beach hotel again!

The Majorca Beach really wants pulling down and rebuilding before it falls down. The staff were so miserable I had to laugh. Flooded the bathroom every day, what can I say? Would go back to Magaluf but not this hotel.

Just returned from Majorca Beach from a girls' holiday! What can I say? This hotel is everything you could want - clean, relaxed and good value for money. The maid only came in once or twice during our stay though which was a bit poor because we had lots of rubbish. The lady on the reception was well cute and she ordered us a 'Pizza Hut' delivery, bless!
The hotel is located right on the beach and close to the shops. We heard no noise from the bars and clubs and BCM is a five to ten minute walk away depending on how fast and drunk you are. It's not too rowdy here. Recommend 'Boatyard' and 'Foxy's' for food and they are right on the beach front too.
If you go on any trips go to see 'Pirates Uncut' - us girls had an awesome night and there are plenty of half guys. The show is unreal and will leave you amazed. The food you get, chicken and chips meal in a basket, isn't great but the show makes up for it.
So if you're off to this hotel you will have an ace time and I'm sure all the girls I went with would be pretty jealous of you. Enjoy!

"Good Hotel But Not For Kids"

I stayed there with my two kids and partner in August last year in the quieter one of the two ends. It was great. Kids loved being at the beach day and night and with it being right on the beach, we didn't actually go to the kids' pool as it got the shade for quite a bit of the day.
The hotel itself was very clean. The maids were in every day cleaning the floors. We only got our towels and sheets changed once in the week we were there but it was that hot you weren't using them but the towels we were running short on. They have a laundry there. You pay per item and it can get expensive so pack well.
The only bad thing I found was if you have small children like myself, the doors don't lock from the inside, just the outside so this was a worry for me and they weren't very helpful with my concerns in this so we had to put a table up against the door so if the kids did try to get out, we would hear them first. We did not get anyone running up and down the halls like some say and I am a very light sleeper so would have heard it going on. Overall a good holiday and would go back again to the Majorca Beach hotel.

I came here with my boyfriend and after reading the reviews before I left England, I was having second thoughts about the holiday as some of them were terrible, saying how bad the food was and how noisy it was in the evenings. However, this was totally opposite. The food was very good with lots of variety for both adults and children and there was a calm and relaxed atmosphere in the evenings. You couldn't hear hardly any noise from the clubs and bars. Entertainment was always good and enjoyable and there was something for everyone.
One down side, however, I wouldn't recommend the area to families with children as there are a lot of drunk groups of young people around in the evenings in the main area and the streets are not too clean as you could imagine, but overall a very good holiday at the Majorca Beach.

The hotel itself isn't too bad. We stayed half board. The food was OK with quite a lot of choice. The rooms are very small but the air conditioning is mint! The staff all seemed friendly enough and the reps are always easy to find if you have a problem (not that we did).
The location of this hotel is spot on - right on the beach and not in the centre of all the noise but not too far if you want the clubbing scene.
Most reviews I read before going was that the hotel was very noisy but to be honest, we didn't really have a problem with it and there was a room full of young lads next door.
Overall the Majorca Beach was a average hotel and if it was cleaned up a bit, could be a excellent place to stay.

With reference to 'Cell Block H' below, we are in agreement with their more than accurate views on this particular crumbling shack of a hotel. We arrived to be greeted with sour bakes from the less than cheerful staff! We then proceeded into the restaurant where our furniture decided to collapse, resulting in a rather embarrassing entrance where the staff did not intervene to give me a new chair! To cool down from the embarrassment, we decided to go down for a dip in the rather unhygienic, floaty-filled, undiluted pool! The food looked super until I realised it was plastic, purely decorative food and I suggest eating out.
In conclusion we decided on a rather ironic title, yes, there was plenty of all three and on the plus side it would be a perfect getaway for the older generation who wouldn't be getting in the pool anyway! Bliss? Yeah, right!

If you're 18-30, this may be the place for you, but if you're a family with young children or looking for a good nights sleep beware! 70% of the guests were young and they take over the main pool area playing loud music. There is little consideration for other guests at all. At night they trip back from the clubs banging doors, shouting and screaming, waking all the guests up at three or four in the morning. Throughout the day and night there is continuous swearing! The hotel is clean, the food is OK with a good variety for all. The staff are very helpful but there are a couple who need a personality transplant. The location is great for the beach and local facilities including transport links.
