The four star Formosa Park Hotel & Apartments is situated some 250 metres from the Ancao beach, in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, in the Vale do Garrao area of the Algarve, on the southern coast of Portugal.

The accommodation, at the Formosa Park, comprises 24 one bed roomed, and 37 two bed roomed apartments, each having a bathroom with hairdryer, a balcony, a lounge and a kitchenette, and being equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a direct dial telephone, internet access and a safety deposit box. Apartments adapted for use by disabled guests are available.

The facilities, at the Hotel, include a restaurant, bars, a snack bar, 24 hour reception, room service, laundry service, internet access and meeting rooms for up to 56 delegates. The Hotel also has a swimming pool and children's play area.

Various water sports are available on the beach, and guests get preferential rates for the Pinheiros Altos Golf Club.
