The four star Monte da Quinta Resort was opened in 2005, and is situated some 2.5 kilometres from the beach, in the centre of Quinta da Lago, in the Algarve, on the southern coast of Portugal.

The accommodation, at the Monte da Quinta Club, comprises 48 two bed roomed townhouses, 29 three bed roomed townhouses, 12 three bed roomed villas, 70 four bed roomed villas and 20 five bed roomed villas, each having a bathroom, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen, and being equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, direct dial telephone and a safety deposit box. The townhouses each have a small garden and splash pool, and the Villas each have a private swimming pool and garden.

The facilities, at the Resort, include a restaurant, a lobby bar, a coffee shop, a mini market, a restaurant by the pool, 24 hour reception, a swimming pool, a snack bar, a children's pool and a Children's World Club for those up to 12. There is also a Health Centre and Spa, with an indoor pool, offering various baths and treatments. A courtesy bus is provided to and from the beach.
