The five star Ria Park Hotel & Spa is situated some 700 metres from the Ancao beach, in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, in the Vale do Garrao area of the Algarve, on the southern coast of Portugal.

The accommodation, at the Ria Park, comprises 175 rooms and suites, each having a bathroom with hairdryer, and a balcony, and being equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a direct dial telephone, internet access, a minibar and a safety deposit box.

The facilities, at the Hotel, are as would be expected of a five star establishment and include two restaurants, a lobby bar, 24 hour reception, 24 hour room service, two swimming pools, a children's pool and club, and a Health Spa with fully equipped gym, an indoor Thalassic pool, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and twelve treatment rooms. The Hotel also has tennis courts, a football pitch and a karting track.

Various water sports are available on the private beach, and a shuttle service is provided to the beach and to the resort centre. There are a number of first class Golf Courses in the area.
