The five star St Nicolas Bay Hotel is situated by the beach, on a promontory overlooking the Mirabello Bay, some 2 kilometres north of Agios Nikolaos, on the north coast of Crete, about 67 kilometres east of Heraklion Airport.

The accommodation, at the St Nicolas Bay, comprises 84 bungalow rooms, junior suites and executive suites all with sea views, each having a marble bathroom, and a balcony or terrace, and being equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, satellite television, a direct dial telephone, a minibar and a safety deposit box. The executive suites also have heated private pools.

The facilities, at the Hotel, include five restaurants, bars, 24 hour reception and room service, a boutique and kiosk, a cinema/games room and fully equipped conference rooms for up to 200 delegates. The Hotel also has two swimming pools, complimentary sun beds, parasols, and beach towels, a children's paddling pool, a miniclub for 4 to 11 year olds and a Spa with a fully equipped fitness room, an indoor pool, Turkish baths, a sauna, and offering various baths and treatments. Guests may use the Hotel's private blue flag beach, a 34 foot sailing boat and a motor cruiser. In the Hotel grounds is a small chapel, the oldest church on Crete, where the Mayor of Agios Nikolaos will perform marriage ceremonies.

The Hotel is open from April until October.
