The finca Cases de Son Barbassa is set in the countryside in the north eastern corner of Mallorca. Surrounded by the natural park of 'De Llevant', the old houses with watchtowers dating from the 16th century are only a kilometre from the town of Capdepera. Almond, olive, and carob trees grow naturally within the many acres of the finca. The sandy beaches of Cala Mesquida, Cala Agulla and the golf courses of Capdepera and Canyamel are all within ten minutes drive, as is the town of Cala Ratjada. As it is located at the foot of Puig de Son Barbassa, the country estate enjoys views overlooking the medieval Castle of Capdepera, the village itself and the natural park of Llevant. Within the country estate, the remains of the Talayotic people in Son Barbassa dating back approximately 3,000 years ago can be found. From there, views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea can be enjoyed. Furthermore, the finca has panoramic views over the slopes of the Arta Mountains and down to the coast and the island of Menorca.
The Cases de Son Barbassa has 12 rooms. Each of them is individual in character with panoramic balconies. There are two suites and rooms for families with children. The double family room has two intercommunicating rooms. All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box, hydro massage, bath or shower, hair dryer and bath robes.
The shared guest lounges of the finca are within the tower and the traditional kitchen has an inglenook fireplace. Both breakfast and dinner can be served on outdoor terraces surrounded by wild rose trees and lavender, or in the indoor dining rooms, where guests can taste the products of the country estate. There is also a swimming pool with furnished sun terraces.
