The five star Grand Hotel Excelsior is located on the doorstep of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the city of Valletta.

The hotel is still in the process of completion. It is projected that all work will be finalised by the end of June 2008. In the meantime, the following outlets and facilities are in operation: the 'Admiral's Landing' restaurant, the 'Harbour View' bar open 24 hours, the 'Chartroom' bar, six meeting rooms, the 'Grand Ballroom', 'Fountain' restaurant, swimming pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi, some treatment rooms and gymnasium. This list will be updated as further facilities and outlets are opened.

The Excelsior Grand offers 439 deluxe rooms, executive rooms and suites set over ten floors. The guest rooms offer either king size or twin beds, bathroom with bathrobe and slippers, ergonomic workstation with wireless internet, multi-channel flat screen television, data port, direct dial telephone with speaker and voice mail, mini bar, room service and balcony with harbour or the hotel plaza views. The hotel also features royal and presidential suites.
