The four star Solana Hotel is situated in the centre of the most northern village in Malta, Mellieha.

The Solana offers a total of 65 rooms - standard deluxe suites, studio apartments and one bedroom apartments. All rooms have their own balcony and terrace and are equipped with an individually controlled air-conditioning system, satellite television, telephone, mini bar, (stocked upon request), safety deposit box, tea and coffee making facilities, ISDN laptop connection (at a charge), in-room DVD facilities (available upon request) and an en-suite bathroom. Apartments are also equipped with a kitchenette and in-room dining facilities as well as an additional sofa bed.

Facilities at the Solana include an outdoor pool area elevated above the village of Mellieha and in the centre of the valley giving views of the Islands of Gozo and Comino and Mellieha, hydro massage facilities in the pool area and indoor leisure facilities, compromising of an indoor heated pool area, fitness centre, jacuzzi, changing rooms, private showers and bathroom. The hotel also offers a games room with pool table, a table football and video games and television area, featuring a flat screen television and the 'Café Puccini'. Dining facilities include the 'Tosca' buffet restaurant serving local and international cuisine with views of the locality from the restaurant's terrace and 'Café Puccini' coffee shop in the hotel's lobby with a lounge area with sofas and a seating area with café style tables and chairs. 'Cafe Puccini' transforms it's day time ambiance for the evenings, with subtle lighting and live entertainment. The 'Vista de Mar', open in Summer (weather permitting), is on the roof top with views of the village, Ghadira Bay and the sister islands of Comino and Gozo. The deck offers a pool area with sun beds, pool bar and barbecue grill area (available upon request and subject to a minimum amount of persons).
