The four star Boca do Rio Resort is situated on the bank of the Rio Arade, some 4 kilometres from the beach, about 3 kilometres north east of Portimao and 5 kilometres from Lagoa, on the southern coast of the Algarve in Portugal. The Resort is about 70 miles from Faro Airport.

The accommodation, at the Boca do Rio, comprises 120 rooms and suites, each having a bathroom with hairdryer, and being equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a direct dial telephone, internet access, a minibar and a safety deposit box.
