Sant Joan de Binissaida is a rural lord house, detail of which can be found in the earliest documents drafted by James II, a few years after the Catalan conquest of Menorca in 1287. Today, Sant Joan de Binissaida is an operating rural property with 30,000 acres, half of which are composed of pine and wild olive trees, and the rest are used for growing crops to feed the sheep and horses.
The hotel has 11 rooms, all of them decorated in traditional Menorcan style. All the rooms enjoy a view over the landscape or harbour of Mahón.
