The three star Villa Marachique Complex is situated in 5 acres of gardens, about 1.5 kilometres from the beach, 2 kilometres from Alvor and some 4 kilometres from Portimao, 70 kilometres from Faro Airport, on the southern coast of the Algarve in Portugal.

The accommodation, at the Villa Marachique comprises a number of mainly privately owned one, two and three bed roomed apartments, in 8 blocks, each apartment having a bathroom, a balcony and a kitchenette, and most being equipped with air conditioning and satellite television.

The facilities, at the Complex, include a restaurant, a snack bar, reception, a large lagoon style swimming pool, a pool bar and a children's pool. There are a number of shops, bars and restaurants in Alvor.
