The five star Vilalara Thalassa Resort Hotel is situated on a cliff top overlooking the Praia das Gaviotas beach, in 12 hectares of lush gardens, some 2.5 kilometres from the centre of Armacao de Pera, about 45 kilometres from Faro Airport, on the southern coast of the Algarve in Portugal.

The accommodation, at the Vilalara Thalassa Resort comprises 132 rooms and suites, each having a bathroom and a balcony or terrace, and being equipped with air conditioning and heating, satellite television, direct dial telephone, a minibar and a rental safety deposit box.

The facilities, at the Resort are as would be expected of a five star complex, and include three restaurants, bars, snack bar, 24 hour reception, internet access, shops, TV room, beach service and conference rooms.
