We went to this hotel in July and didn't really know what to expect as we could only find one review. Well, we soon found out that this was a little hidden gem, nothing fancy, just a nice little hotel. The hotel is actually mainly geared up to German and Scandanavian people. This was not a problem as they just get on with their own thing!!

The hotel is literally a three minute walk from the beach and two minutes from the main street, but there is no noise what so ever! The staff are really nice, especially a receptionist called Tessy (I think - really good English). The bar staff were lovely but maybe a little too laid back - you had to go find them sometimes!

My family loved the place and would go back tomorrow if I'd take them!

Ca'n Picafort is a great little resort - nice and safe although it doesn't have a lot to do. We went to relax this holiday and that's exactly what we did. I'd definitely go back to the Maracaibo hotel and the resort.
