The three star Balaia Mar Hotel is situated in a quiet area of the Apartamentos do Balaia Complex, about 400 metres from the Maria Louisa beach, some 4 kilometres east of Albufeira, on the southern coast of the Algarve in Portugal.

The accommodation, at the Balaia Mar, comprises 32 rooms, each having a bathroom, and being equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a direct dial telephone, a mini fridge and a rental safety deposit box. Rooms are cleaned five times each week and the bed linen and towels are changed twice weekly.

The facilities, at the Hotel, include a restaurant, a sports bar, reception (24 hours in summer), laundry service and a supermarket. The Complex also has a swimming pool, a children's paddling pool and a pool bar/restaurant (open in summer). Golf and tennis are available within 200 metres of the complex.
