The three star Hotel Marques has a beach front position in the resort of Colonia Sant Jordi on the south east coast of Mallorca. The hotel is 40 kilometres south east of the capital of Palma de Mallorca and the Son Sant Joan international airport, and a short distance from the centre of the resort, where there are bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1967, the Marques has a total of 196 guest rooms, including 144 twin rooms and 52 single rooms, which are distributed over five floors and set amidst sun terraces around a central pool area overlooking the sea. All guest rooms at the hotel offers air conditioning, central heating, en suite bathroom with shower and hair dryer, telephone, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box (at an extra charge) and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the sea. Maid service is provided with a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Facilities at the Marques include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, games room, snack bar, public internet terminal, laundry service, lounge and pool bars, conference and meeting room with modern audiovisual equipment, outdoor freshwater swimming pool with sun terraces with loungers and parasols and a seasonal programme of daytime activities and evening entertainment for both adults and children.
